3 mistakes every beginner makes

Look inside the manual
  1. 1Gaps that are too wide or too tightLeave a gap about the thickness of a coin between tiles. Too tight and grout can't get in. Too wide and the grout shows more than your tiles.
  2. 2Grouting too soonLet the glue dry fully, usually a day, before you grout. Wet glue lets tiles slide and pop out.
  3. 3Leaving the grout hazeWipe the extra grout off before it hardens. A dried haze is hard to remove later.
